About this treatment
Semaglutide is a GLP-1 receptor agonist. GLP-1 is a hormone your gut releases after eating. It tells your brain you are full, slows how quickly your stomach empties, and helps regulate blood sugar.
Semaglutide mimics that hormone with a longer-lasting effect. Our formula is compounded with glycine, an amino acid. Research suggests semaglutide may:
Reduce appetite and food cravings, so you feel satisfied with smaller portions
Support meaningful, sustained weight loss alongside healthy eating and activity
Improve blood sugar control and insulin sensitivity
Support improvements in blood pressure, cholesterol and other markers of metabolic health
Who it’s for
Adults new to GLP-1 therapy who have a BMI of 30 or higher, or 27 or higher with a weight-related condition such as high blood pressure, prediabetes or high cholesterol.
How it works
Semaglutide is a once-weekly subcutaneous injection that you do yourself at home. This starter plan covers your first 3 months, beginning at a low dose and increasing gradually (0.25 mg, then 0.5 mg, then 1 mg per week) to reduce side effects. A licensed provider reviews your health history before prescribing and adjusts your plan as you go. Nausea, constipation or fullness are common early on and usually ease with time.
What’s included
A 3-month supply of prescription medication compounded by a licensed pharmacy, a provider consultation, injection supplies (needles and alcohol prep pads), and priority shipping at $15 flat fee.
Important safety information
Compounded semaglutide is not FDA-approved and is not the same as Ozempic® or Wegovy®. Individual results vary. It isn’t recommended if you or a family member have had medullary thyroid cancer or MEN 2, or if you have a history of pancreatitis, type 1 diabetes, or are pregnant, breastfeeding or planning a pregnancy. A provider will determine whether it’s right for you.
